About the role
We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals with current industry knowledge and experience in Children's Education & Care, to join vacancies across the North Region as an Education Support Officer (ESO).
Working within a team of industry professionals, the ESO is supervised by the Head Teacher and responsible for various activities that support learners and enhance the student learning experience.

This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources, and does not deliver training or undertake assessment_.
About You
To be successful in the role you will be able to meet the following selection criteria:
- Hold qualifications at a minimum level of Certificate III or Certificate IV in School Based Education Support OR Hold qualifications at a minimum level of Certificate III in Early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Demonstrated experience in relevant Industry (two years gained in the last five years).
- Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, including MS Office suite

Targeted Question 1:
The ESO will be required to work with students, Teachers, Administrative staff, and Head Teachers who could have differing needs and expectations.

This is a child-related position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.
To be eligible for positions at TAFE NSW, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
