Deputy Supervisor

About the role
The occupant of the role will support the Supervisor Messenger Services in leading and managing a team of approximately 30 (principally non-ongoing sessional) staff performing general support duties associated to the Department and the operations of the House of Representatives chambers.
The occupant of the role will support the Supervisor in performing complex staff management and rostering functions, and ensuring that departmental information and requirements are effectively communicated to the Messengerial services team.
The occupant of the role will have demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to work with limited supervision and demonstrated knowledge of parliamentary procedure, or the capacity to develop this quickly.
