Your Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction and professional, authoritative, and influential strategic policy advice to inform policy, program, and project development on strategic policy issues.
  • Provide high level program management and contract management leadership to ensure value for money and the delivery of improved outcomes for First Nations students and their families.
  • Collaborate and engage with stakeholders and partners, including through innovative engagement strategies commissioning and codesign processes, to identify effective solutions and initiatives to support department to deliver on its strategic objectives.
  • Lead and contribute to culturally capable evaluations of departmental programs and initiatives to support future investment decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare, oversee and provide advice on high level submissions, reports, papers, statements, briefings and correspondence on complex issues.
