sports padding, seat cover and commercial upholstery industries, is currently seeking a production supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of part of our production team, ensuring that we meet our production targets and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and on time delivery.
ABOUT YOU...
A self-motivated individual with a background in manufacturing. You are able to perform the duties and responsibilities listed below with mínimal supervision.
Core Tasks:
- Supervise and manage a team of production staff, including planning and scheduling work, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure that production targets are met.
- Maintain high levels of safety and quality standards by overseeing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in production processes, implement process improvements, and ensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the development, quality and materials teams, to ensure that production goals are met.
- Train and develop production staff, including providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring, to ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Maintain accurate production records, including tracking production output, waste, and downtime, and generate reports as necessary.
ABOUT YOU...
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of production staff.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality standards.
- A strong understanding of production processes, including knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using production software and tools, is preferred.
- Must have 'excellent' English communication skills (verbal & written).
Microsoft Office
- Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
