Production Supervisor

Our client located in Kilsyth is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. They are a well established business who produce and supply parts to various industries including Mining, Shipping and Construction etc.

The role involves melting metal in a furnace and casting with a large ladle. You will be required to operate Lathes and Milling machines along with MIG & ARC welding (can be trained).

Hours of work 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday (Friday finish time 3:00pm).

Ideally they would like someone with a trade qualifications but will consider a person with solid experience or exposure working in a metal manufacturing environment.

- A minimum 3 years’ experience in metal manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Attention to detail
- A Forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A sound understanding of OH&S regulations
