This role will report to and work closely with the Change Manager and the rest of the change team to support the ongoing education, communications and change management processes involved in rolling out the new system.


The Training Specialist / Change Analyst will be responsible, in partnership with the other two change analysts, for developing and delivering training and support materials on the use of the system within the OHS environment.

This role will also make a significant contribution to change communication planning and lead the creation of communication artifacts.

The primary purpose of this role is to:

  • Assist with the design and scheduling of online training programs and develop associated materials
  • Conduct evaluations to assist in the continuous improvement of training
  • Evaluate the impact of future system enhancements and support the change process associated with these.

Secondary functions of this role are:

  • Contributing to change communication planning and drafting communication materials as needed
  • Support project management requirements of the roll out.

The following will be considered favourably:

  • Excellent written communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in occupational health and safety and/or workers compensation
  • Understanding of sound educational design principles, teaching methodologies and tools
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint), elearning software and audiovisual setup
  • Excellent time management skills and a collaborative team oriented approach
  • Open to constructive feedback and able to adjust to a fluid work environment and changing priorities.
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • A valid driver's licence.
Note that the role may require travel to locations across Victoria

Qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in a numeric field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics, commerce, or social science). Equivalent work experience will be considered if no tertiary qualification is held.
