The Role:
The Consultant Paediatrician plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality and safe paediatric specialist services within the Paediatric Department. The responsibilities include providing top-notch clinical care to patients, offering leadership to junior medical and clinical staff, and actively supporting the Hospital's educational, research, and clinical governance initiatives. The Paediatrician directly reports to the Clinical Director Paediatrics for operational and professional guidance to the Executive Director Medical Services & Chief Medical Officer.

The Hospital:

Essential:
Current Registration as a Medical Officer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

Skills & Qualifications required:
Must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) within the Paediatrics Division and have current registration with the Australian
Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Specialist Paediatrician
Appropriate clinical experience and training in Neonatology, Ambulatory and acute General Paediatrics as well as Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics
