As our Project Engineer you will work closely with our Senior Project Managers in the successful delivery of a wide-ranging program of works delivering essential projects that support our mission to deliver high-quality water services to the community. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role ensuring projects are delivered in adherence to budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

A snapshot of your day

  • Ensuring assigned projects are delivered to specification
  • Undertake project evaluations
  • Preparing all documentation required and confirming that it meets the required standards
  • Ensuring efficient and effective resource management
  • Make sure all stakeholders are engaged and expectations managed
  • Guaranteeing that all project risks are managed whilst business improvements are identified and actioned as required
  • Promoting Coliban as a safe workplace that maintains a sustainable environment and meets all its statutory obligations
  • Ensuring that the Coliban team is multi-skilled and has up-to-date knowledge, meeting professional standards.

To be considered for the role you should have some relevant experience in Project Engineering together with qualifications acquired through a tertiary degree in an Engineering or project management discipline, or considerable knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training.

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3, $74,200 to $87,446 base salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
