Lead and manage a team of skilled administration professionals to provide excellent customer service and ensure efficient administration practices. Full-time role available for a dynamic candidate to oversee Administration functions in Northpark and La Trobe Private Hospitals in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. Part-time option may also be considered.

If you seek a fulfilling career and the chance to lead a team of skilled administration professionals in delivering exceptional customer service in our hospitals, this role is for you. As the Administration Manager, you will lead a diverse team consisting of Reception, Short-stay, Billing, and Bookings staff, as well as Ward Clerks, totaling approximately 30 individuals. Your role will involve providing crucial support to patient services, doctors, and reception teams to ensure top-tier customer service for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities as the Administration Manager:

• Lead daily hospital administration workflow processes in patient booking, admission, discharge, billing, and collections

• Cultivate an efficient Administration Department that achieves results through a value-driven and safety-focused workplace culture, including coaching, development, and performance management

• Support VMO partners by fostering positive relationships and ensuring compliance with hospital administration processes

• Drive operational efficiencies through resource management and performance enhancements

Key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' managerial experience in private healthcare, preferably with multi-site management

• TAFE/Certificate-Diploma in Front-line or Business Management

• Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in patient administration systems and health fund contracts

• Rostering experience, along with strong communication and Microsoft 365 skills
