The Company
Our client is a major player in the Australian Agricultural industry with a comprehensive range of operations covering storage, handling, transport, marketing, and processing. The Role
As a part of the Corporate Finance team and reporting to the Manager, this position will be responsible for various financial reporting tasks, including ensuring the accuracy of monthly group financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

The role also involves preparing the annual financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries, emphasizing compliance with accounting standards. Moreover, there are opportunities to streamline and enhance existing financial models and reporting procedures.

This position is a fixed-term role for six months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly reporting and financial analysis for business units.
  • Support the preparation of Annual Financial Reports for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Aid in capex and accounts reconciliations.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and project work as needed.
Skills and Experience
  • Hold a degree in Business or Commerce with a focus on Accounting.
  • Having or working towards a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Experience with SAP is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and/or OneSource tools is desirable.
  • At least four years of accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements, AIFRS, and its applications.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Experience in a Big 4 or second-tier audit firm is advantageous.
