DutiesResponsible for managing national Property Damage, Liability and ISR claims, you will liaise with clients, insurers, claimants and external providers, interpret policy wordings, analyse claims history data, arrange / conduct investigations and determine claim settlements for under-deductible claims.
Driving the settlement negotiation process and negotiating on behalf of the client you will acts as an advocate for the client and determine commercial / technical responses to insurer's denials of liability with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for the client.
As part of the Client and Broker Service, you'll respond to queries, prepare routine and ad hoc reports including claims trends analysis and quarterly and / or annual claims reviews, attending client meetings and conducting training for clients as required.
Required SkillsAt least 5 years' experience managing Liability claims in a Claims Consultant role, ideally in a commercial team focusing on large business and brokered clients nationally.
Some experience managing ISR claims would also be beneficial.Educated to degree level or Diploma in Financial Services or a Law qualificationStrong understanding of national Claims Management and working within Client Service Agreements or Claims Unit standards.
Time management, organisational skills and attention to detailProactive, analytical problem solving and decision making skillsNegotiation and influencing skillsResilience and perseveranceCustomer service and relationship building skills with an ability to work collaboratively to the mutual benefit of clients, brokers and the business due to absolute understanding of stakeholder needsAlert to new and expanded business opportunities supporting these through provision of claims review data for tenders, renewals and proposals, and participation in client / prospect meetings and client / broker education presentations as required.
