As a Motor Claims Consultant, you will play a vital role in the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of motor insurance claims.
Your primary responsibilities will include assessing the validity of claims, determining liability, and facilitating the claims process from start to finish.
You will work closely with policyholders, assessors, repairers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and satisfactory claims experience.Responsibilities:
- Handle a portfolio of motor insurance claims, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
- Assess the validity of claims based on policy terms and conditions.
- Gather and analyze relevant information, including accident reports, photos, and repair estimates, to determine liability and extent of damages.
- Liaise with policyholders, thirdparty claimants, repairers, assessors, and legal representatives to facilitate the claims process.
- Negotiate settlements within policy limits, taking into account liability and other factors.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate claims records and documentation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in motor claims handling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Motor Claims Consultant, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance policies, coverage, and claim processes.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
