Our NeuroJunior team provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary allied health service, with dedicated NeuroJunior clinics as well as access to innovative NeuroRehab therapy centres across Melbourne.

We provide therapy where it is most needed, including offering home, education and community-based services.

We are a growing team and are looking for the right person to join our quest to build our paediatric services.


  • Job Description
    Acting NeuroJunior Speech Pathologist Team Leader
Our NeuroJunior Speech Pathologists work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. In this Acting Team Leader role, you will provide leadership support to the NeuroJunior team. NJ caseloads will be optional, you can maintain your adult caseload if you choose.

If you choose to work with NJ clients, you will be working with children, young people and their families in various settings (home, school and clinic).

NeuroJunior is an expansion of NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. We are a Child Safe organisation and adhere to Victorian Child Safe regulations.

Overview of main duties in Acting NeuroJunior Speech Pathologist Team Leader role:

  • NeuroJunior intake
  • NeuroJunior leadership and quality improvement support
  • Help support team leave planning
  • Team performance leadership
  • Desired Skills and Experience
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and current practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Suitable experience to lead and develop NeuroJunior Speech Pathology services
  • Demonstrated commitment to familycentred approaches and best practices within the NDIS
  • Driver's license
  • Internet access
  • Uptodate Covid19 vaccination
  • Influenza updates are desirable

Desirable

  • Experience working with compensable and NDIS clients highly desired but not essential
