About the Opportunity

We're excited to offer a fantastic role for a dynamic Business Development Manager - Off/On Premise - Canberra Region NSW to join our ALM team due to internal promotion. As a highly motivated sales representative, you'll drive member growth and sales in the Off/On-Premise channel within our Canberra customer base. This role entails expanding our footprint and increasing sales in the territory, with occasional overnight travel required.

In this Role

  • Establish and nurture customer relationships across both on-premise and off-premise channels.
  • Demonstrate strong grasp of Territory Management, including call cycles, territory planning, and supplier partnerships.
  • Oversee the existing customer base in the territory, identify sales growth opportunities, manage margins, handle negotiations with key customer groups.
  • Coordinate state-level marketing promotions and showcase all ALM initiatives.
  • Handle administrative tasks like maintaining accurate customer records, weekly sales reports, staying updated on market trends, and controlling costs.

You're a Great Fit If

  • You have a proven track record in sales roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the liquor industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong negotiation skills, a history of meeting budget targets, and the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in CRM management.
