Lead the team and drive business growth by acquiring and fostering new commercial and agribusiness customers in this unique opportunity for an experienced Relationship Director or an ambitious and emerging leader seeking progression.
• Manage a large Agribusiness Banking portfolio contributing to the regional growth strategy

YOU | As a Relationship Director, you will play a vital role in helping agricultural clients manage their financial affairs, optimize their operations, and achieve their business goals. You will work closely with farmers, agribusinesses, and other stakeholders in the rural community to provide financial advice, solutions, and services tailored to their specific needs. Ideally, you will also possess:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agribusiness clients. This involves understanding their unique financial needs, goals, and challenges. Regular communication and face-to-face client interactions will build trust and rapport.
• Strong credit writing skills are necessary to assess the creditworthiness of clients and ensure the bank's lending decisions align with the client's financial capabilities.
• Understanding of the business needs and attitudes of Regional Banking customers. You must have a deep understanding of the specific business needs and attitudes of regional banking customers.
• Ability to network effectively and maintain good professional working relationships with a range of different stakeholders. Effective networking is key to success in this role. You'll need to establish and maintain professional working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including farmers, agribusinesses, and others in the rural community.
• A degree in business, finance or a related discipline highly regarded
THE ROLE | Based in Regional Victoria, provide quality banking services to your customer base on behalf of a bank who is reinventing relationship banking whilst still maintaining old-fashioned values like integrity and an enterprising spirit.
As the Relationship Director, you will develop and deliver win-win solutions that meet your client's needs, objectives, and interests, as well as increase market share and contribute to the successful delivery of key initiatives. You will work with varied stakeholders across the business, in particular working to ensure the success of the agribusiness specialisation.
