We have an exciting opportunity for a recently promoted Associate Director or an established Senior Manager with a strong Financial Risk background to join the MBL CEO Office reporting to the MBL CEO Risk Delegate.


Joining the MBL CEO Office team will offer you exposure to a broad spectrum of financial risk matters and frameworks across Macquarie.

The Risk Delegate team works closely with the Treasury and Legal Delegates and Head of the MBL CEO Office which will also provide you with exposure to a diverse range of Bank related matters relevant to the MBL CEO.


In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the MBL CEO Risk Delegate in advising the MBL CEO on financial risk related matters impacting the Banking Group
  • Working closely with the RMG Leadership to ensure risk frameworks appropriately consider potential intragroup conflicts and protect the interests of the Banking Group
  • Assisting the MBL CEO Risk Delegate in reviewing and determining whether material inter Group transactions are in the interests of the Banking Group and in accordance with relevant policies
  • Interacting frequently with Macquarie's Central Executive and Bank Operating Groups and RMG Leadership teams
  • Working with a dedicated, highperforming, and hardworking team.


You will ideally have Macquarie experience in financial risk such as Credit Risk, Market Risk or Aggregated Risk with strong communication skills; ability to engage with a diverse and senior set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships.


Your organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, present to senior stakeholders (both written and verbal) and work both independently as well as collaboratively, in addition to your positive and constructive approach to problem solving, tenacity, agility, and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment will be vital in this role.
