Established in November 2021, Vamp Cranes is a top Crane Hire company providing Mobile Cranes, Tower Crane operators, Dogmen and Riggers, spotters, and access equipment to the local and interstate construction sector. Vamp Cranes offers a wide range of mobile crane hire services with a focus on quality and has seen significant growth in the past year.

Located in Coburg North, Vamp Cranes is looking for a dynamic Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team and grow with the company.

About the Position:
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable, receiving, and bookkeeping processes
  • Assist in preparing Management Reports
  • Support weekly payroll processing
  • Assist in ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide administrative assistance to the leadership team
  • Handle office supplies
  • Manage expense reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers and customer details
  • Help with finance paperwork and staff onboarding processes
  • Coordinate with external consultants for finance support
  • Be a proactive and collaborative team player

About You:
Successful candidates will showcase:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Xero and strong computer skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and high energy
