YOUR ROLE

The Talent Acquisition Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting our internal talent acquisition team. The role will assist with resume screening, conducting preliminary phone interviews and proactive sourcing for key roles. Additionally, the role will facilitate scheduling interviews and managing pre-hire checks to ensure a smooth hiring process.

The position is flexibly based from one of our Melbourne (Truganina) or Sydney (Banksmeadow / Orchard Hills / Kemps Creek) locations. Other locations in QLD/NSW/VIC will be considered for the right candidate.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Evaluate resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates that meet the specific requirements of various roles within the organisation
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, availability and interest level, providing a shortlist of promising candidates to recruiters for further evaluation
  • Assist in identifying and engaging passive candidates for key positions, utilising various sourcing techniques and platforms to build a robust talent pipeline
  • Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews, ensuring all parties are informed of the timing and format of the interviews
  • Facilitate background checks and other pre-employment screening processes to verify candidate qualifications and suitability for employment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and candidate records in CEVA HR systems, ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has recruitment experience gained in an internal human resources function and/or external recruitment agency together with:

  • Experience with screening resumes, conducting telephone interviews and coordinating pre-employment checks
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, WorkDay) and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with professional networking platforms and job boards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and internal teams
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling candidate information and following up on various stages of the recruitment process.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.

  • Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
  • Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options, along with additional paid parental leave for primary carers.
  • Professional development: your growth is essential to us. Unlock your potential through secondment and internal mobility opportunities, study assistance, leadership and mentoring programs, the CMA CGM Learning Academy, early career pathways and more.
  • Financial wellbeing: We care about your financial security. Enjoy exclusive offers and discounts from our partners, novated leasing, annual safety workwear reimbursement, employee referral incentives, service recognition and short-term incentive plans.

As a global organisation, diversity is critical to our business success; only when we can reflect the cultures, languages, attitudes, and local knowledge of our customers, can we succeed. By employing people with different experiences and abilities, we expand our knowledge and increase our creativity and innovation.
