About the role

The New Generation Rollingstock - Interface Team is responsible for the contractual and operational interfaces with external services providers and the ProjectCo to operate and maintain NGR trains.

We have an obligation to manage contractual and safety interfaces, provide accurate reports, supply important information on contracts, reliability and availability to TMR, ProjectCo, Alstom and external service providers.

This position is based in Brisbane City with a hybrid WFH model.

Occasionally, you may be required to work at night at stabling sites to perform assurance activities or attend Wulkuraka depot to perform assurance with Project Co and Alstom, although this will be planned in advance.


Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include

  • Management of various contracts administration such as; Transport Services Contract, NGR Project Deed and related contracts, Interface Coordination Plans, management plans, Queensland Rail safety and environment managed documents
  • Attend contract meetings and resolve contract disputes and provide contract knowledge to NGR team managers and Queensland Rail stakeholders
  • Manage any correspondence and queries relating to NGR contracts and ensure alignment with contractual obligations
  • Review legislative changes impact on contracts and provide recommendation and guidance to facilitate changes where required
  • Complete contractual assurance reviews and collaborate with Snr NGR Assurance Advisers to develop contractual assurance program
  • Support contractual negotiations for new contracts or alterations in consultation with Legal and key stakeholders

About you

  • Previous experience and a high level of skill in managing, monitoring and reporting contract obligations
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, including, negotiation, relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience of working towards deadlines aligning projects & tasks to business requirements
  • Understanding of contract risk and assurance practices and legislative requirements
