Job Description

What you will do:


You will be responsible for overseeing our QLD and NSW, Operations Managers and Resort General Managers, within their portfolio of parks and resorts.

Day-to-day, you will provide key support in leadership and direction, ensuring there is a safe, effective and efficient operating environment that maximises financial returns, encourages and builds capability and capacity of people and creates and maintains a high level of guest experience.


You will also:


Assist to elevate performance through aligning back end systems and process, while ensuring relevant guest facing and product differentiation, to suit the varied portfolio.

Work with the GM Operations, to set the strategic plan and direction for the operations portfolio of managed and owned, parks and resorts.

Participate as an active member of the leadership team and provide sound and innovative advice to the CEO on the development and implementation of operational strategyProvide direction and leadership with respect to the development of relevant strategic partnershipsFlexibility to travel to inspect assets will be required on a needs basis.


What you will bring:
Ideally you will have considerate hospitality management experience – preferably across a variety of market mix types (high and mid-scale) and a great understanding of commercial & financial drivers:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, and at least 5 years in operational environmentDemonstrated experience leading diverse cross functional teamsStrong commercial acumen and ability to develop and manage significant operating budgetsAbility to interpret complex situations and apply sound decision-making and problem-solving skillsExperience in hospitality and tourism sector (accommodation experience highly regarded)Proven experience in capital investment via asset developmentDemonstrated competency growing a business via organic and inorganic methods
