About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Director to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the WA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan for the region that aligns with and facilitates the achievement of the overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with the VP WA & Africa to drive business growth and development in the region.
- Build key relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster a strong and collaborative culture.
- Manage the performance of studies and projects to agreed strategies, budget, and policies.
- Prepare and execute strategic business development plans to maximize revenue, gross margin, and EBIT.
- Develop and maintain a strong cadre of experienced project professionals who understand and strongly ascribe to our core values.
- Be an active participant and business advisor for operational steering committees, IPR's, and people activities.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of project delivery systems, standards, and procedures to ensure leading-edge practices.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to visible HSEC leadership and to achieving Zero Harm in everything that we do.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a propensity for development, mentorship, and guidance of potential leaders.
- A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.
- A proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering company and regional business objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial reports and project budgets.
- A demonstrated ability to foster client relationships and champion the development of project engineers and study managers into future leaders.
- Maintains knowledge of current industry trends and issues.
- A spirit and drive to help build a high-functioning, profitable, and reputable team.
