Lifestyle Centred Services is an NDIS and TAC registered provider of supports for people with disability and mental health support needs throughout Victoria, we specialise in psycho-social disability and those faced with minor or major mental health issues providing services for people of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of abilities and support needs.

About the Role:


This role is perfect for someone with a
person-centred approach, has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs, who enjoys a challenge and enjoys the rewarding feeling of
making a difference in someone's life.

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers for
an adult requiring support within the home involving Community Access.

Shifts available:
Tuesday 1pm - 3pm; Thursday 1:45pm - 3:45pm (hours are flexible)

Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.

Pay rate Minimum starting rate is $40.36 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

Skills and Experience:

Experience and or/Academic or professional experience in mental health or a similar field (i.e., Psychology, Nursing, Community Services, Youth Work or Social Work)

  • Enthusiastic, selfmotivated, and driven.
  • Reliable, kind and caring nature, with good work ethics
  • Be patient and understanding.
  • Wellpresented and a professional approach
  • Positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the issues that are faced.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current resume and 2 professional referees
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer) if supporting U1
  • Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
