About the role


McConnell Dowell has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Administrator to join the team at our Aura & Harmony trunk infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.

This role plays a crucial part in the successful operation of a project that is delivering critical new water and wastewater infrastructure to support the growth of Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

  • Friday work cycle this role would be ideal for you.
  • As the Project Administrator your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintain Project personnel roster, co-ordinate flights and accommodation requirements.
  • Collect and collate work hours for weekly paid employees and issue for payroll processing. Maintain payroll records for staff including time keeping data and statistics.
  • Operate the McConnell Dowell cost system for the Project.
  • Coordinate the general day to day running of the site office
  • Provide timely cost reports to management.

  • Assist the Project Controls/Contract Administrator as required with any administration issues regarding the day to day operations of the Project Office.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Ability to operate with mínimal direction, prioritise work requirements and effectively manage time.
  • Clear verbal and written communication and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in a construction project environment highly regarded.
