  • Manage governance processes for MDHS, ensuring efficient committee operations and compliance with policies.
  • Spearhead strategic governance advice across the Faculty, implementing best practices to enhance committee effectiveness and efficiency, and alignment with University standards.

About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Governance Manager. The MDHS Governance Manager will oversee governance processes for the Faculty and its schools. You will manage executive committees, and provide expert advice on governance matters.

Responsibilities include planning and facilitating executive meetings in conjunction with the Dean, facilitating and drafting papers for executive meetings, maintaining accurate records, advising our 6 Schools within the Faculty on governance matters and ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.

Additionally, the role involves championing records management practices and implementing procedures to enhance efficiency and adherence to best practices.

Who We Are Looking For

You will also have:

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline (legal preferred) and or equivalent mix of education and significant relevant governance experience.
  • High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of people across all levels of the organisation
