Summary

Basic Function:


Responsible for the implementation and compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, and supervising the operations of assigned table games, securing the integrity of the game and customer satisfaction.

Supervise dealers on assigned shifts.

General Responsibilities:

  • Enforces the gaming policies and procedures of the company and the Pit Operations Department.
  • Monitors, directs and supervises dealers and observes table action in assigned Pit for adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Observes games, players and dealers, to ensure accuracy of game and ensures games played, and ensures game protection.
  • Promote positive customer relations providing a delightful gaming experience by, answering questions, resolving disputes, calling beverage servers, etc.
  • Safeguarding any assets and securing the integrity of the game.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the faithful compliance of policies, principles and procedures of the Hyatt Regency Aruba Casino.
  • Enforces employee handbook rules and regulations.
  • Controls game pace for all games assigned to him/ her.
  • Monitors and ensure an adequate bankroll for table games through fills and credits.
  • Responsible for the supervision and performance of the table game dealers.
  • Responsible for tracking players, noting buyins, length of play, win/loss and average bet with rating cards. Reviews and verifies payouts.
  • Vigilant to any patrons reaching AML threshold established by FIU-Aruba and ensure these are reported to the MLCO and MLRO as necessary.
  • Oversee and prepares table opener/ closer forms prior to shift start and close out.
  • Informs management of all suspicious or unusual activity.
Assist in training and evaluating subordinate employees in a fair and equitable manner.

  • Helping train new dealers/ supervisors and assisting new dealers/ supervisors during the training period.
Facilitate the flow of information to fellow supervisor.

  • All other duties assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.
  • May assume the duties of a dealer as necessary.
  • Public relations function: Recognize regular casino patrons, who look forward to being greeted by important figures in the casino
  • Human relations function: Recognize and act on direct employee needs and all customers needs

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent and/ or several years of Table Games experience.
  • Excellent Guest Service skills.
Strong leadership and team building skills.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods to include entire shift.
  • Must have a valid certificate of good conduct to obtain a gaming license.
  • Able to work in a good gaming entertainment environment.
Must pass an audition with representatives of the Pit Operations Department of the casino.

  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Hyatt Regency Casino background check and drug free work place policies.
