The Recruitment People are a business providing recruitment Services.

We are currently assisting our client in their search for a HR Business Partner. The company is national, with a good sized HR team
- you will be their NSW HR Business Partner and supported by the wider team. The business is stable, well established and building a reputation of excellent company culture and good tenure.

The role:

This is a full time permanent role, with a very competitive remuneration.

An exciting opportunity to work alongside the NSW Senior Manager, developing and maintaining the HR function for the region. The region is set to grow, so good potential career growth opportunities.

Minimal travel, however, you would be expected to travel to other branches is a requirement once per month.

This is a multi disciplined key role where, you will focus on on end to end HR issues including:

  • Coaching and developing a high performing team of managers across the NSW business units;
  • Advise management on HR issues;
  • Workplace relations
  • Recruitment of full time casuals to support the business function
  • Retention and staff culture
  • Manage employee lifecycle from Recruitment, onboarding, induction and offboarding
- provide timely advice and assistance to management on policies and procedures
- implement and review and enhance HR policies to ensure best practice

  • Project work plenty of scope for projects such as employee lifecycles, policies and procedures, renegotiation of enterprise agreements
  • Maintain accurate records

Applicant requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded;
  • Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the talent to build strong relationships with the management team in your region;
- you will have a proven track record as a HR Business Partner, with a good understanding of all aspects of HR;

  • You will be a proficient user of HR Systems
  • Previous experience in enterprise negotiation is highly advantageous;
  • Excellent employee lifecycle understanding with good recruitment skills blue collar preferred but not essential;
  • Have a cando attitude, adaptability and ability to pivot and prioritise in response to the demands of the business
- be able to take direction as well as work without supervision

  • Experience with Fairwork
