To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a Guest Service Agent who can make transactions feel seamless, offer thoughtful neighbourhood insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home and ignite their curiosity.


A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

  • A neighbourhood host
  • know what's happening in the neighbourhood and the hotel; keeping up to date with events, activations and hotel information
  • Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests in person or over the phone
  • Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
  • Making the checkin and checkout process feel swift and seamless
  • Flexing your product knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and promotions to demonstrate value to our guests
  • Staying one step ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
  • Assisting guests with Porterage and Valet duties
  • Working closely with the Food & Beverage team taking on ad hoc duties as required

What we need from you:

  • Communication skills guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to
  • Your problemsolving skills will turn issues into opportunities so our guests leave with great memories
  • Fluency in the local language extra language skills would be great, but not essential
  • Literate and techsavvy you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
  • Flexibility willing and able to work across all shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Compliant valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Safe Food Handling Certificate required
  • Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
