The Role
Based at our Melbourne CBD Head Office, we have a permanent opportunity for a Technical Support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in the chemical industry, putting their technical knowledge to use.

You will be thoroughly trained in our procedures and in the use of our information systems. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical advice to customers with their enquiries. For each enquiry, you'll quickly assess the situation and then provide appropriate advice to customers. In addition, you'll provide day to day support to the business to maintain our high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming enquiries from customers dealing with their challenging situations
  • Assessing the risks associated with each situation
  • Providing appropriate advice to bring each situation under control
  • Carrying out day to day tasks to maintain the service's high quality standards

Skills & Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in a scientific (e.g. healthcare, chemistry etc.) or engineering discipline is highly desired
  • Natural problem solver with the ability to stay calm when facing challenges
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with chemicals or in an industrial organisation is highly advantageous
