Exciting Opportunity

Joining Bupa as a Business Process Analyst means spearheading excellence and innovation. You will be the orchestrator of business process documentation, ensuring the seamless functioning of our operations through detailed process maps and our central knowledge base.

With your imaginative prowess, you will narrate our business processes, documenting their entirety and maintaining their accuracy through regular updates. You will safeguard our organizational wisdom, preserving our confidential techniques and strategies.

In addition, you will drive change, advocating for our Process Excellence Framework and Governance model across the organization. Your dedication to precision and teamwork will enable us to thrive and evolve continuously.

This position is available as a full-time 12-month fixed-term role, offering flexible work arrangements - either on-site at one of our Bupa offices (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney) or remote.

Key Responsibilities

Your contributions will include:

  • Developing comprehensive process maps, identifying process owners, and leading workshops and meetings to document processes following our process excellence governance framework.
  • Maintaining process maps up to date by incorporating any business process modifications, coordinating with process owners, risk partners, and project managers to identify changes, and managing a change register.
  • Identifying customer, system, and personnel impacts resulting from process alterations and implementing measures to enhance customer experience and mitigate risks for Bupa.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in utilizing business process management tools such as Mega or Visio to streamline workflow efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills to optimize processes and boost productivity.
  • Experience in a dynamic industry like insurance, healthcare, or large corporations demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint—showing expertise in data analysis and presentation.
  • While not mandatory, certification in Lean principles is beneficial, with practical experience equally valued, indicating a dedication to streamlined operations.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously on varied topics.
