About the Role
Joining our State Government client, you will define and embed new ways of working and support delivery of legacy system modernisation via domain centric delivery. This is a significant change from current delivery patterns where change is driven by technology and largely waterfall and not by customer outcomes.

You will be responsible for resource and sprint cycle management (SCRUM Master) as well as setting and ensuring new ways of working are embedded across multiple development teams. You will also provide input into the performance management framework as well as providing feedback on a new governance model which is yet to be established. You will focus upon concerns that cut across multiple workstreams, and in that broader context will communicate with stakeholders and escalate impediments that help to manage risk, and to drive relentless improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and facilitating a SCRUM process with senior leaders including supporting decision making and prioritisation
  • Supporting and coaching multiple cross functional and multi-discipline development teams to implement new ways of working including SCRUM as well as more traditional/ classic approaches, ensuring efficiency
  • Coordinating cross team prioritisation ensuring accountabilities are clear
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of a consistent performance management framework across multiple teams both within and external to the program

To be Successful

You will have:

  • Extensive experience with managing Program delivery.
  • Experience working within agile delivery teams.
  • Experience effecting collaboration between agile and non-agile teams.
