The Opportunity

Visy is a global leader in packaging and resource recovery and has been a pioneer in sustainability since our inception. Our innovation, manufacturing and logistic capabilities are organised around an integrated closed loop. Visy is one of the largest Private enterprises in Australia and has grown over 75 years to employ 7,000+ people operating across 150 sites internationally.

Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, as the Protective Security Manager, you will be a pivotal leader within the Visy Security team, managing physical and personnel security to reduce security risk and enable outcomes across the enterprise.

Utilising your extensive knowledge, experience and exceptional communication skills, you will lead and guide a comprehensive security risk uplift program aligned with:

Site security reviews, risk assessments and advice Investigations and incident response Policy development Trusted insider program Executive support, include a safe travel program Metrics and reporting

To be successful in the role, you must have:

Significant experience in security risk management and investigations either from a law enforcement or complex corporate security environment background. Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in security roles, with knowledge of security frameworks. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and high-pressure situations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with a creative approach to security solutions. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills in addition to meeting facilitation, presentation, and demonstrated attention to detail.
