The Role:


As the Head of Housing Services & Community Engagement, you'll play a pivotal role in strategically leading a team to achieve positive customer outcomes aligned with CWH's purpose and values.

You will oversee housing services and community engagement initiatives, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the long-term sustainability and strategic direction of CWH.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will also be an important member of CWH's Leadership team, contributing to the long-term sustainability and strategic direction of CWH.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic plan including growth and execute projects for housing services and community engagement.
  • Foster resident engagement and develop strategic partnerships to enhance community participation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of service improvements and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with external partners, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging trends and implement innovative plans to position CWH as a leader in the sector.
  • Manage a small but growing team, designated budget, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Degree or significant relevant experience in leadership roles related to social/affordable housing or nonprofit service delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong project management skills, and adaptability to change.
  • Leadership qualities include promoting inclusivity, fostering teamwork, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Accountability, problemsolving skills, effective communication, and commercial astuteness.
  • Proven track record in change and growth management.
