About the role


As Social Media Content Producer, you'll be part of Are Media's Digital Content Team working alongside creators for Fashion and Lifestyle brands including _Australian Women's Weekly, marie claire _and_ ELLE_.


We are looking for a digital content native who can create publish-ready social media content in the form of short-form video, engaging carousels and powerful posts.

This is a fast-paced role, driven by deadlines and suiting someone who's full of ideas and can deliver with innovative and engaging content to tight deadlines.

A love of beauty, fashion, lifestyle and food content would be a bonus.

Duties

  • Ideate and create exciting, innovative social media and video content to drive exponential audience growth across the social channels of identified brands, in particular across the Fashion and Lifestyle networks.
  • Implement according to the social media content schedule across social platforms include Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Be able to edit provided video for use on social media platforms.
  • Be the social media goto for print and digital teams, providing advice, support and guidance.
  • Create engaging copy and captions for social posts using your strong written communication skills great spelling and grammar is essential.
  • Use available tools and analytics to measure success and provide insights to audiences.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with content teams as well as key stakeholders including Digital Content Leaders and magazine content teams.
  • Support the digital content team in growing community and audience across multiple platforms.

Skills and experience

  • A passion for social media and the appetite for creating bestinclass visuals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of creating content including shortform video for Instagram Reels, Stories and Grid, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Understanding of how to reach and grow social audiences and engagement.
  • A positive, creative and collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to identify the latest trends and viral moments and jump on these opportunities as soon as they arise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and changing business priorities
  • An interest in creating content around fashion, lifestyle and food is desirable.
