Our clientis looking for an experienced Director of Sales to join their team and represent them in Sydney Australia.

About thisroleAre you anexperienced sales strategist looking for your next challenge in traveltechnology? As Director of Sales - B2B, you will be accountable for definingthe company's B2B sales strategy and building a portfolio of profitable B2Bclients across the globe.

You are open-minded and curious with an ability tounderstand our clients' needs, and translate them into innovative productsolutions that keep us and them at the forefront of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities-Lead B2B sales acquisitionBe the business owner for delivering sales across the B2B segment, focused onintermediaries that aggregate content such as GDS, Travel Technology Platforms& Disruptors, and Consolidators.

-Development and execution of our B2B salesstrategyLead the design and implementation of our sales strategy with a clear focusonB2B client growth and profitability throughout the customer lifecycle-Build and maintain valuable relationships:Introduce a clearly defined B2B relationship management strategy to build andmaintain strong partnerships with current and prospective clients, andsupported by our communications strategy-Embrace customer feedback to drive changeEffectively shape and influence our B2B product roadmap and client solutions byunderstanding and anticipating our client needs-Transformdata into powerful insightsUse data based insights to inform our business strategies, product innovation,and to maximise our client profitability-Represent the clients brandRepresent us at external forums, including industry events and conferences, topromote the company's brand, establish thought leadership, and support businessdevelopment objectivesKey Competencies - Strongselling skills, with the ability to understand client requirements and managecomplex selling processes- Results-driven, with a strong focus on achievingtargets and delivering revenue growth- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders- Demonstrated ability to think strategically andcreatively, with a strong focus on revenue generation and growth- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build andmaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders- Ability to lead and manage implementation ofcomplex projects with multiple internal and external deliverables andstakeholdersKeyQualifications& ExperiencesRequired:
  • 10+ years of sales experience with at least fiveyears in senior sales position(s) with preference given to candidates withexperience in sales of digital and tech solutions within the travel eco
  • system
  • Experience leading the design and implementationof B2B sales and channel strategies across multiple geographies, with theability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
  • Demonstrated success delivering B2B sales,leading commercial negotiations with partners to their successful conclusion
  • Track record managing implementation of B2Bpartnerships, through effective project management of deliverables throughinternal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with directexperience leading cross
  • border teams with a broad range of cultures andbackgroundsDesired:
  • Bachelor'sor Master's degree in business, finance, or related field
