Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with domain experts to translate data migration requirements into effective engineering and analytics solutions.
  • Design and execute data integrations, pipelines, and algorithms for efficient data extraction and transformation.
  • Create data analysis tools to assess data structure and integrity pre-migration.
  • Develop reconciliation reports to validate data accuracy post-migration and ensure consistency between source and target systems.
  • Aid in project scoping, estimation, and task planning.
  • Conduct testing of ETL processes and data tools, resolving issues and enhancing operations based on feedback.
  • Document ETL processes and data procedures for future reference and compliance.
  • Stay updated on the latest data engineering tools and practices to enhance work quality and efficiency.
Mandatory Skills
  • Proven experience in ETL development using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting and optimizing data processes.
  • Detail-oriented approach for precise implementation of ETL processes and reconciliation reporting.
Desired Skills
  • Utilizing ETL tools in Data Migration projects.
  • Experience in building ETL solutions for COTS or SaaS applications like TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI for creating informative reports and visualizations.
  • Ability to construct resilient data pipelines with embedded data quality monitoring.
  • Knowledge of data protection and compliance best practices.
  • Azure data engineering certification (DP203).
