The opportunity
We are currently seeking a junior Lawyer to join our Corporate/M&A practice based in our Brisbane office. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to be involved in interesting work within a collaborative and friendly environment.
What does the role involve?
In this role you will be servicing corporate and commercial matters for key clients alongside a well-known industry partner. On a day to day basis you will have the chance to;
- act for international and domestic clients from a variety of different industries;
- advise on a range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, joint venture arrangements and advisory work on corporate governance matters and regulatory issues;
- prepare and advise on a wide variety of contracts and terms and conditions;
- interact with clients and liaise with colleagues in other offices and practice areas around the globe
- participate in business development and client relationship activities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a 1 – 3 years' experience in broad corporate and commercial matters, working in a medium to large law firm.
