About the Opportunity:

We are offering exciting opportunities for Structural Engineers in Maritime Australia based in Adelaide, SA. We support flexible work arrangements, such as a 9-day fortnight.

The Structural Engineer will provide structural engineering services, utilizing experience and knowledge to solve complex problems and develop designs for various projects, both small and large.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing structural designs and products using Finite Element Analysis and other tools
  • Creating detailed Finite Element Models of structures
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure products meet design specifications
  • Providing structural engineering support to projects and collaborating with stakeholders for solutions
  • Working with Designers to develop products meeting project requirements and standards

About You:

  • Experience in structural design using Finite Element Analysis and calculations
  • Familiarity with analysis tools such as FEA (Hyperworks preferred), Mathcad, Excel, Solidworks & Autocad
  • Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Naval Architecture/Civil Engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment
  • Effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance - NV1 required
  • Knowledge of Import/Export control processes beneficial
