  • This role involves providing realistic and practical command chain actions and reactions of synthetic events to assist in training Customer personnel for maritime warfare. The position requires a broad skill set to act as a role player and professional interactor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactically accurate blue-force and/or red-force professional interactor functions and show proficiency in areas such as ADF tactics, doctrine, procedures, Anti-submarine warfare (ASW) tactics, Anti-air warfare (AAW) tactics, Anti-surface (ASuW) warfare tactics, Electronic Warfare (EW), Air Space management, Naval Gunfire Support, joint fire missions, executing and coordinating synthetic training events, providing realistic command-chain actions and reactions for synthetic events, and offering input to exercise-related documentation.
This position is exclusively open to Australian citizens. Permanent Residents and individuals with working visas will not be considered, as the candidate must possess a current Australian Defence Security Clearance at least at the NV1 level, with the ability to upgrade to NV2.The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Assist in delivering structured training programs
  • Exhibit personal and professional skills to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Eligibility to access ITAR information
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with current ADF Simulation doctrine, tactics, procedures
  • Previous experience in a military training environment
  • Proficiency in military/RAN voice procedures
  • Experience as a Combat System Operator or equivalent
  • RAAF background as an Air Warfare specialist
  • Understanding of training systems, exercise development, military communications, and C2 systems
