About the opportunity


As our Distribution Account Manager, you will nurture our Distributors and the Channel Partner Program in the region to ensure we achieve common success and growth potential.

We believe in long term partnerships and value-add relationships.

You will empower the Distributors and Channel Partners in their growth strategies through supporting their continuous training, coaching and education.

Additionally, you will use your skills and knowledge to implement and improve the region's sales processes, tools and guidelines.

This position is based in Melbourne and there will be some travel involved.

Key responsibilities

  • Account management of Distributors in the market, acting as their main contact
  • Recruit new Partners into the Channel Partner Program
  • Training, advising and educating Partners on Axis' products and services
  • Managing stock levels, stock rotations and product mix
  • Planning, implementing and followingup with Distributors' marketing activities with the local Marketing Manager
  • Evaluating the performance of each Distributor
  • Achieving annual and quarterly targets set for the region
Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Track record of reaching sales targets working with Partners
Skills, abilities, and behaviours

  • Driven and selfmotivated team player
  • Good organisational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and time for customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers
