About the role


Due to the rapid expansion of the business, they are seeking a highly experienced and capable
Safety & Quality Control Officer to join their tight knit team, working on a diverse range of construction projects within the business.

Reporting directly to the WHS Manager this is a great role for a tenatious, highly capable person

Accountabilities:

  • Enforce compliance to WHS/Quality obligations and monitor compliance with procedures.
  • Support site supervisors by supervising high risk work at sites.
  • Assisting with safety site paperwork
  • Daily reporting of hazards and issues to the HSQE Manager across sites
  • Conduct WHS and Quality inspections and complete site safety/quality audits and monitor the corrective action process plus more...

Key Competencies / Qualifications:

  • 5 years working in building site environments as a safety/quality officer or tradesperson is a must This role would also suit someone from a strong construction trades background who has worked on site with sound knowledge of the overall processes that occur during maintenance and building work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Drivers license is essential.
  • White Card, High risk licence and HRS certificate would be an advantage
