About This Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee Health, Safety, and Wellness at the Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology (ACWEB) and manage the research facilities within the centre.
- Health, Safety and Wellness (HSW) Management
- Research Facilities Management
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months offering competitive benefits.
About You
- BEng or BSci degree with relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of experimental set-up for water research
- Supervision experience in Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness
- Ability to establish effective relationships and represent the academic discipline
- Understanding of UQ and ACWEB policies
- Good grasp of environmental and water-related processes
- Industry liaisons and professional contacts
- Skills in training research professionals
