Our Enterprise Risk and Compliance Division is seeking a Senior Manager to support the Head of Strategic Excellence, as we build out strategic capability to drive cross-functional initiatives and improvements in support of the Allianz Australia Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

Our Enterprise Risk and Compliance Division is seeking a Senior Manager to support the Head of Strategic Excellence, as we build out strategic capability to drive cross-functional initiatives and improvements in support of the Allianz Australia Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Providing a Line 2 perspective, you will be supporting the Head of Strategic Excellence in executing on division-wide strategic initiatives and managing change setting through scoping, analysis, and communication of strategic/change efforts.
  • Leading or supporting the development of a consistent and repeatable process to deliver thought leadership and external insights (including market scanning) with a focus on emerging risk and strategic risk.
  • Contributing to driving innovation and operational improvements across the Division, through hypothesis testing, design thinking and agile delivery.
  • Supporting the Head of Strategic Excellence with advising, monitoring, and executing on risk and compliance matters as and when they arise.
  • Leading and coach team members to develop capabilities in structured problem solving.
About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience within management consulting and strategy or risk management experience acquired in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management and engagement skills to influence and communicate change and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources (locally and internationally) and to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence through structured presentations and story boards.
