As our new Safety Partner, you will coach, mentor, and support our Newcastle & Geelong sites, fostering a strong and engaged Health and Safety function.


Key responsibilities:
Contribute to continuous improvement in health and safety performance and respond to incident trends
Facilitate incident investigations, hazard identification, and risk assessments
Advise and support line leaders to ensure the effective implementation and communication of the Infra Build health and safety policy, standards, programs, and procedures
Conduct audits of business processes that are associated with inherently highrisk activities
Support the implementation of new health and safety initiatives
Train and assess stakeholders in safety systems and processes

Please note:
this role includes monthly travel to our Geelong site.

About your experience :
A full, clean Australian driver's license is essential, as this role involves driving to various sites.

You also have:
A certificate IV in WHS or Training and Assessing
Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
Effective skills in influencing and coaching a wide variety of stakeholders, line managers, safety team members, and onsite contractors
Strong time management with the ability to balance workload and manage competing priorities
An innovative and creative approach to safety with a proactive attitude
A strong ability to work autonomously.
