Reporting to the Engineering Manager this position plays a critical role in the development and implementation of engineering projects. The role will champion technical excellence, innovation and problem solving at all levels of the business by continuing to mentor and enhance our capability and resilience in practices and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:


• Participate in strategic planning and execution of the engineering function.

• Develop, scope, plan and manage new projects from concept to product.

• Participate in reverse engineering projects to enhance the product portfolio.

• Review current drawings, programs and production methodology including QC.

• Continually develop and improve best practice and efficiency for manufacturing and servicing product.

• Develop documentation to enhance current practices.

Essential Position Requirements:
To be considered for this role you will possess these key skills and experience:


• Proven experience in engineering discipline

• Demonstrated ability to define and carry out project plans

• Proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

• Time management and organisation skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

• Ability to develop rapport, and build strong relationships with customers (both Group office and Site)

• Engineering degree
