Additional information:

  • These roles are Temporary (until July 2024), Parttime, 40hrs/fortnight.
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work early mornings from 3am to 11am. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2full day Welcome induction.
  • If successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 18 March 2024.

About this work area
As a Goods Flow Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking and loading the daily replenishment for the store.
  • Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open to restock appropriate products.
  • Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked and available for customers.
  • Using inventory systems to ensure stock availability is as accurate as possible.
  • Ensuring IKEA SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and coworkers.

As a Goods Flow Co-worker you are:

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day.
  • The ability to remain calm when faced with challenging situations.
  • Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
  • Energetic and comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive lifting and adopt a safetyfirst mindset.
  • Passionate to contribute to an optimal logistics operation and embody a 'Togetherness' mindset, where you will work closely with your team and other departments, yet also be able to work independently.
