This proudly Australian, and family-owned pharmaceutical company has been around for over 50 years and specialises in the manufacture and distribution of natural products.

They have a well-established network of pharmacies, supermarkets, online stores and other selected retail outlets that they distribute to.

About the role
The rapid expansion of the business has led to a newly created role in the AR/Credit team. This full function Accounts Receivable position is responsible for managing a ledger of approximately 350 accounts/ $18million per month. The actual duties include,

_ _Duties**- Banking and allocations of monies paid

  • Process End of Month Statements
  • Process credit card payments via EFTPOS Machine
  • Taking cheques/cash to bank, when required
  • Contact customers for collection of overdue accounts
  • Build strong customer stakeholder contact
  • Liaise with Sales and Supply Chain departments as needed to resolve claims, overdue debts, and other issues
  • Maintain claims register and resolve any claims issues
  • Prepare accounts reports
  • Account reconciliations

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit is essential
  • Computer literate with intermediate Word and Excel
  • Interpersonal skills must be able to communicate with, and relate to, a range of employees and customers
  • Good attention to detail
  • Effective time management and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision
  • Team player, innovative and focussed on continuous improvement
