The JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business comprises 17 stores and a growing online and commercial business. There is a significant opportunity to grow and expand the JB Hi-Fi business in New Zealand and, over the next three years, we will be investing in improving the JB Hi-Fi New Zealand customer offer, refreshing the store network, opening new stores, and upgrading our online platform.

Reporting to the GM of Business Services, the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing and future business needs Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process and form long-term business partnerships Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with wider sales team to ensure maximum growth Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e. face to face meetings, telephone calls and/or via email Ensure reporting is up to date and accurate (meetings, calls, opportunities etc) Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales Accuracy of reporting and forecastingSkills & Experience:
Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment Experience selling I.T and appliances Experience in Microsoft Office (highly beneficial)To Apply
