About the Role:
This role is a new opportunity from the Canberra Hospital Psychology team to create a permanent allied health assistant position. You will be working closely with patients under the care of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists in an acute care environment.

This includes a commitment to research and training to ensure the best outcomes for patients through collaborations with professionals and service providers.
The Psychology team at Acute Allied Health Services offers evidence-based care to both inpatients and outpatients across different divisions of The Canberra Hospital (TCH) and Canberra Health Services.
TCH is a teaching hospital with around 600 beds, serving as a referral center offering specialized services to the people of the ACT and Southeast NSW.
The team is comprised of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists roles.- The new Allied Health Assistant position in the Psychology team aims to provide essential support to both Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology teams.
- Multidisciplinary pain management unit
- Eating disorders (adult and pediatric)
- Functional Neurological Disorders
- Cancer care
