The Role:
Victorian Forensic Paediatric Medical Service (VFPMS)
- Medical Audio Typist/Administration Officer
The Victorian Forensic Paediatric Medical Service (VFPMS) provides a coordinated 24-hour statewide forensic paediatric medical service for evaluation of non-accidental injuries and suspected child sexual abuse.
It also provides consultations to health professionals, police and Child Protection practitioners in relation to children for whom child abuse is suspected.
Successful applicants for the Medical Audio Typist/Administration Officer position must demonstrate the following:Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Audio Typist/Administration Officer
- Experience and knowledge of administrative processes in a healthcare environment
- Experience in a client and customer focused environment
- Understanding of health service organisations
- Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft Office suite

The position is part-time (45.6 hours per fortnight - 0.6 EFT) and is classified salary range AO21-AO25 as per the Victorian Public Health Sector award for Health & Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Officers.
