About the Role


Reporting to the Director of Finance We are currently recruiting for a
Full Time Finance Officer to enhance our existing Finance team.


Key accountabilities will include:

  • Record and maintain the Accounts Payable ledger, update supplier records in the Finance systems, and prepare appropriate reports as and when required.
  • Administer payment remittance advices.
  • Working cohesively with offshore Shared Service Centre to ensure accuracy & efficiency of the finance functions.
  • Audit the daytoday operation of all Front Office, Food and Beverage outlets, Kitchen & Purchasing department.
  • Assist with End of Month processes and external and Internal Audit preparation
  • Monitoring of adherence to various internal controls and policy & procedures
  • Assist in any other tasks as required by the Hotel Accountant and/or Director of Finance.

Qualifications and requirements for the role:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Prior exposure to Birchstreet highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivation for personal career development
  • Ability to work Weekends and Public Holidays when required for End of Month processing
